Here are 6 beery good events you ought to check out in 2019:
1. Brewer’s Delight at Heads of Noosa Brewing Co.
Warm up for the Noosa Food and Wine Festival weekend with a relaxed gathering at Noosa's newest brewery, Heads of Noosa Brewing Co.
Graze on some delicious bites and wash it down with some exceptional local brews or wine while enjoying live music.
Chat with the brewers and throw your hand up if you’d like an impromptu brewery tour.
2. Noosa Brewery Trail
If a brewery trail is more your speed then we’ve got you covered! Experience a lazy afternoon exploring three breweries in Noosa and surrounding regions on the Noosa Brewery Trail.
Get behind the scenes, meet the brewers and sample fresh local beer along the way. Oh and don’t worry about driving, an air-conditioned bus awaits!
3. Locally Crafted Noosa
For something a little different, Sunshine Coast Craft Beer Tours are also running a Locally Crafted tour, where you can sample not only locally crafted beer but also gin, coffee and chocolate!
First off visit local coffee roaster Flying West’s new venue to kick start the day and learn about the Noosa coffee scene, coffee styles and sustainable coffee practices.
Then it’s off to a local craft brewery and distillery to see how beer and gin is made (with plenty of samples included of course!).
Finish the day off with a few local treats from nearby Noosa Chocolate Factory.
4. The Fortune of Land & Sea – a beer, spirit and fine food odyssey
Local brewery Land & Sea and distillery Fortune are bringing together their two crafts to create a unique evening celebration of beer, spirits and gourmet junk – mini festival style.
For three hours roam between food and beverage stations at your leisure, alongside live music and impromptu brewery and distillery tours.
5. Brewery Tour and Barnyard Picnic
Local beerpreneurs, Copperhead Brewery are hosting an epic American Barnyard style picnic. Begin with a brewery tour (with the brewer brewing on site!) followed by plenty of food and drink.
Think: tomahawk steaks, bourbon glazed ribs, smoked brisket and cornbread, loads of salads and gallons of beer.
6. Craft beer and cider corner
Our much-loved Festival Village’s Craft Beer & Cider Corner is returning in 2019 and we’re jam packing it with crowd favourites Stone & Wood plus some of Noosa’s best craft brewers.
