Our 2019 Festival is back from 16-20 May, and we’re bringing with it a program chock full of great events held beyond the beaches of Noosa.
Our hinterland’s rolling valleys are dotted with cafes, galleries, farm gates, historic pubs and breweries, while the ever-changing landscape, with stunning mountain-top vistas and trails, invites exploration. The perfect combination for a foodie event!
So, what’s on the agenda this year, you might wonder? We’re glad you asked! Don’t miss:
Learn from the world’s most ancient culture as you forage and dine with a new wave of modern food pioneers – Harvest Newrybar’s Head Chef Alastair Waddell, Resident Forager and pioneer of the Australian Bushfood industry Peter Hardwick, Jaaning Tree’s Clayton Donovan and your host and MC, Orana’s Jock Zonfrillo.
TASTE OF THE HINTERLAND FARM TRAIL
Wind your way through Noosa hinterland trails and sample fresh produce at 3 unique Sunshine Coast farms. These bespoke farm tours will give you an appreciation of the diverse abundance of produce available, delivered directly by the passionate producers and artisans themselves.
Choose from Thursday, Friday (including lunch with Matt Wilkinson) or Saturday.
THE UNDERGROUND COLLECTIVE
Join The Underground Collective for a truly intimate and immersive experience of gastronomic discovery, alongside nationally acclaimed Alla Wolf-Tasker, Matt Moran, Scott Pickett and Zeb Gilbert.
Nestled in the foothills of a local Noosa farm and focusing on seasonal, small scale producers, this progressive lunch with wine pairings will highlight root vegetables and ingredients from the earth set to be in season.
COURSES ON COURSE
This one of a kind event is 9 holes of signature food, wine and seriously fun golf - and you don't even have to know how to play! You will be tempted onto each green with four individually themed food holes and five boutique beverage stations.
UNDER THE STARS
Enjoy an evening of fine food and star gazing with a 4-course dinner in the rolling hills of Noosa Country Drive. Produced and prepared by locals using ingredients sourced from the Mary Valley, Gympie and Sunshine Coast; celebrate the flavours of the surrounding area accompanied by matched wines from nearby Dingo Creek.
