To help you and your friends prepare for an epic weekend ahead in the Festival Village, we've put together our top 5 tips to maximise your experience.

- WHEN AND WHERE
The Festival Village is at Noosa Heads Lions Park - Noosa Parade, Noosa Heads. The Village is open Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th May from 10am – 8pm each day.
- GETTING TO THE FESTIVAL VILLAGE
A complimentary shuttle bus will continuously run between the Noosa Transit Centre, The J in Noosa Junction and the Festival Village on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th May between 9am and 8.30pm for festival attendees.
- THE VILLAGE IS COMPLETELY CASHLESS
This year the Festival Village will be cashless (ooh!) which means bring your debit card, credit card, Android or iPhone (with mobile wallet enabled) and get ready to 'tap & go'.
Every stall in the Festival Village will only take payment with a Visa, Mastercard or Amex debit or credit card or your smart phone with 'tap & go' functionality. No pesky tokens, no ATM machines charging $3.50 a transaction and no hassles.
Just repeating - cash will not be accepted at this year's Festival Village. You must bring your debit or credit card that has 'tap & go' functionality.
- DRESS FOR THE OCCASION
As the sun goes down so does the temperature, so we recommend bringing a jacket to wear throughout the evening. Remember the Festival Village is in a grassy park, so flat, comfortable shoes are recommended too.
- SPOT CELEBRITY CHEFS
Our visiting chefs will be doing cooking demonstrations on the Main Stage between 10.30am and 2.30pm each day. They will also be sharing their tips, tricks and skills at the Chefs Skills Table located inside the Courier Mail Producers Pavilion. These sessions will start at 10.30am and run all day through to 5pm.
