Banjo is a wine professional, with a background in fine dining restaurants, import and sales.
In 2015 he completed a 5 year tenure as Restaurant Manager of internationally-acclaimed restaurant Attica.
He went on to open wine bar/bistro Bar Liberty, as well as Italian/American restaurant Capitano.
He spends the majority of his time running and growing online wine business The Wine Gallery, of which he is a co-founder, as well as a food/wine/hospitality forum GROW.
He has twice been awarded ‘Best Sommelier in Australia’, and represented Australia at the ‘Meilleurs Sommelier du Monde’ competition in Argentina in 2016.
Recently Banjo became a father, and thus no longer believes in weekends and drinks coffee tri-daily.
