Max Sharrad

Max has recently taken the reins of The Pot, Hyde Park as Head Chef which follows a string of accomplishments and achievements for the 27 year old.

Since finishing his apprenticeship at Restaurant Orana (Adelaide), Max gained extensive experience at acclaimed restaurants including L’Enclume (United Kingdom) and Noma (Copenhagen) before becoming the Head Chef at Shobosho.

It was while he was at Shobosho he was awarded winner of Young Chef of the Year (2018 Appetite for Excellence award).

Max’s inspiration comes from things around him; seasonality and waste reduction are what drive him.
