Taste of the Hinterland with Matt Wilkinson

Come and spend a day with Melbourne-based chef Matt Wilkinson and soak up his passion and knowledge for fresh, seasonal and local produce.

Matt will accompany us as we journey through the Noosa and Sunshine Coast Hinterland to discover unique produce at two boutique farms.

The first stop takes us into the hills to The Falls Farm, where a delicious morning tea will be followed by a stroll through the market gardens to harvest some of the finishing touches for lunch.

With our freshly harvested haul, we head on over to Hinterland Feijoas for a bespoke guided farm tour followed by a leisurely 2-course lunch with matched wine.

Please note:

  • The trail departs from and returns to the Noosa Heads Bus Stop. Please meet at the Noosa Heads Bus Stop (opposite Lions Park on the corner of Noosa Parade and Noosa Drive, Noosa Heads).
  • The bus departs at 9.00am sharp and cannot wait for latecomers. Please arrive 5 minutes prior for a prompt departure.
  • As both of our stops are farms, we recommend comfortable shoes and weather dependent clothing (including a hat and sunscreen).
  • Farm tours are included at each stop, therefore some walking is involved. There are options to sit down undercover if preferred.
  • Water bottles are provided on the bus.
